Allah calls Himself Al-Khabeer— The Acquainted, the All-Aware — on six occasions in the Quran. He is the one who knows the true reality of all that is created. Al-Khabeer is aware of, knows about, and has understanding of all inner states, internal qualities, and the meanings of all things!
The Acquainted, All-and Fully Aware, Knower of Reality
Khabeer comes from the root khaa-baa-raa, which points to two main meanings. The first main meaning is to know, to be aware, and to understand the reality or inner nature of something. The second main meaning is to test, prove, and try by experience which results in inner knowledge.
This root appears 52 times in the Quran in four derived forms. Examples of these forms areakhbaarakum (“your affairs”), khubran (“any knowledge, information”), and akhbaarahaa (“its news”).
Linguistically, khabeer is derived from khibrah, which is the concept of comprehending and encompassing the inner and outward realities of things. It is said, khabartu ash-shay (I attained proper knowledge of something) when I came to know it upon its reality (i.e. as it truly is). Hence, He, the Sublime, is al-Khabeer, meaning the one who has encompassed the innermost, and the hidden realities of things, and the outward realities of things. [Sharh Aqidatul-Wasitiyyah of al-Fawzan]
Explanation of the Name, Al-Khabeer, from Ahadun Ahad:
The One who is knowledgeable and well-acquainted with His creation and all that they do. He is the One Whose Knowledge encompasses all the outward and hidden matters, the open and secret, all those things that must necessarily occur, all those things that are impossible to occur and all things that can possibly occur, of the affairs of the whole of creation, of the past, the present and the future. There is absolutely nothing that is hidden from Him.The One Who knows what is, has been, or will be; the One who knows the internal and external qualities of things.
Nothing is static or in motion except that He is aware of it: the possible, impossible, lower and upper spheres, the past, present, and future, all are known to Him. Nothing is concealed from Him. He knows well the affairs of His slaves, and He is well aware of all that they do and what they earn from good or bad deeds—all being recorded and kept for a Day where He will requite each person according to what he or she has earned.
Explanation of the Name, Al-Khabeer, from Sheikh as-Sa’di:
The One whose knowledge encompasses all of the outward and hidden matters, the open and secret, all those things that must necessarily occur, are impossible to occur, and can possibly occur, of past, present, and future affairs of the whole of creation. He knows the internal and external qualities of things and there is absolutely nothing that is hidden from Him.

Explanation of Al-Hayy from the book, “Who is Allah?“:
Allah (the Exalted) knows the hidden nature of all things. He has put all things in their proper places, and He is well-acquainted with them. He knows everything that exists in every corner of the earth, regardless of how small it is. Nothing at all is hidden from Allah (the Exalted); He is well-acquainted with every detail. ‘Abdullâh ibn ‘Umar (RA) narrated that the Prophet (S) said: «The keys of the unseen are five, and none knows them but Allah (the Exalted): (1) None knows what is in the womb but Allah; (2) None knows what will happen tomorrow but Allah; (3) None knows when it will rain but Allah; (4) None knows where he will die, but Allah (knows that); (5) and none knows when the Hour will be established but Allah.» (Bukhari)
Knowing that Allah (the Exalted) is Acquainted with all Things brings an acute awareness to the believers of the presence of Allah (the Exalted). Even our thoughts are known by Allah (the Exalted), as well as our feelings. He is well acquainted with everything, hidden or apparent, and this knowledge drives the believers to take heed of their actions, sayings and intentions, making certain that they are for the sake and pleasure of Allah (the Exalted).
