The One Who is continuously turning (in forgiveness) to those who turn to Him (in repentance) and the One Who forgives the sins of the penitent. Everyone who turns sincerely to Allah, Allah turns to them by first granting them the ability to repent and to direct their hearts towards Him, then after this He turns to them by accepting their repentance and forgiving their errors.
“Know they not that Allah accepts repentance from His slaves and takes the Sadaqat (alms, charity), and that Allah Alone is At-Tawaab, Most Merciful?” [At=Tawbah 9:104]
Knowing that Allah (the Exalted) is the Accepting of Repentance inspires the servants of Allah to seek forgiveness from Allah every day. There is no reason for them to be depressed over their sins, for Allah is the One Who accepts repentance. They should never give up hope for the mercy and forgiveness of Allah. Constantly turning to Allah in repentance is the way to receive His forgiveness and clemency.
On the authority of ‘Â’ishah (RA), who said that the Prophet (S) had taught her this supplication:
“Our Lord! Behold, You alone are the Hearing, the Knowing. And forgive us. Behold, You are the Accepting of Repentance, the Most Merciful. There is no strength nor power save in Allah the Sublime, the Most Great.” (a sound hadith recorded by Ibn Mâjah)
Ibn ‘Umar (RA) said: It would be counted that the Messenger of Allah (S) would say one hundred times at any one sitting before getting up:
“My Lord, forgive me and accept my repentance, You are the Accepting of Repentance, the Forgiving.” (a sound hadith recorded by Abu Dâwood, at-Tirmidhi and Ibn Mâjah)

The One who accepts the sincere repentance of His believing servants. The One Who is continuously turning (in forgiveness) to those that turn to Him (in repentance), Who forgives the sins of the penitent. He is the only One to whom repentance is due. Everyone who turns to Allah sincerely, Allah turns to them by firstly granting them the ability to repent and turning their hearts towards Him, and after this He turns to them by accepting their repentance and forgiving their errors. He forgives; He accepts repentance and turns much in Forgiveness towards His slaves who turn unto Him. He saves His slaves from act of disobedience by returning them to acts of obedience.
Ibn Umar (RA) said: It would be counted that the Messenger of Allah (S) would say one hundred times at any one sitting before getting up:
“O my Lord, forgive me and turn towards me (to accept my repentance). Verily, You are The Oft Acceptor of repentance, The Oft-Forgiving.”
